Overview
Emma Frost has had a most different childhood, fighting against her family, her boyfriend, the Boston Mob, and a sick girl whom Emma soon defeated in the end. From there, Emma Frost then joined the Hellfire Club, a group of elite mutants bent on taking over the world. In the Hellfire Club, Emma Frost took on her first codename, the White Queen. This put her at a bad start to the X-Men, but ultimately, she left and joined the X-Men, seeing the team as the only credible alternative in which mutants are ghettoized, persecuted and exterminated. Emma Frost’s behavior and coldness has put her at ends with Jean Grey, Storm and even Kitty Pryde. Despite this, she cares deeply for those that are her friends, but it is hard to tell whether you are regarded as a friend, or an annoyance. Emma’s loyalties at times are questioned, especially when she joined a new Hellfire Club consisting of herself, Cassandra Nova, Shaw and one of Emma’s deceased students, Negasonic Teenage Warhead. But she has always come back to the X-Men, to fight for mutant rights, together with the X-Men, united.

Powers
Emma Frost originally received telepathic abilities first, which was basically her acceptance in the Hellfire Club. But because of secondary mutation, she now has developed the ability to turn her skin, into nearly indestructible diamond skin, increasing her strength and durability by a great deal. In this state she needs no water or food, but also in this state, she has a cold heart and a cruel sense of humor.
