Bio- As a young boy, Clint Burton and his brother Barny ran away from their an orphanage to join the circus. Clint gained the interest of the circus' swordsman, and he taught Clint how to throw knives. Soon he realized Clint was a natural archer and gave him a boy and arrows. Clint later left the circus to have a small time criminal career. Donning a purple costume and the name Hawkeye. He and the Black Widow got caught up in some business, but after seeing Ironman perform a heroic act, Clint stopped his evil ways at once. Then, getting a place on the Avenger's new roster, Hawkeye had difficulties getting along with his teammate and leader, Captain America. They resolved their issues though, and Captain America taught him how to fight like a pro. Later in his Avengers career he took up some of Hank Pym's Pym particles and became the bow wielding giant Goliath. This persona was dropped and is looked upon now with criticism from his teammates for the costume's skirt. At one time, Hawkeye even lead the West Coast Avengers, alongside Ironman, Wonderman, Moon Knight and the Wasp. But, after a long run as an Avenger, with the title of a fan favorite, Hawkeye died. On the worst day in Avengers history, he, Antman, and the Vision were murdered by a psycotic Scarlet Witch, and her Chaos Magic. His death was very noble though: as his quiver of arrows caught fire and were about to explode, he flung himself at the enemy presented by Scarlet Witch's chaos magic. Although, his death was apparently part of the chaos magic as well, because Hawkeye mysteriously reappeared recently, and is a member of Luke Cage's unregistered Avengers team, as a new hero; Ronin.
